Air Transat launches direct flight between Montreal and Marrakech
Air Transat has inaugurated its first non-stop flight from Montréal-Trudeau International Airport to Marrakech Menara Airport, marking a historic moment for air links between Canada and Morocco. This service, which will operate twice a week throughout the year and will increase to weekly frequency during the winter, is operated by an Airbus A321LR.
This new route is particularly significant for the large Moroccan community residing in Montréal, offering a direct and regular connection to one of Africa’s most emblematic cities. Karl Brochu, Vice-President, Operations and Air Development at Aéroports de Montréal, expressed his pride: this initiative not only strengthens Montréal’s role as an international hub, but also promotes tourism and cultural exchanges between the two nations.
Passengers interested in this destination can also take advantage of complete vacation packages, including accommodation and sightseeing tours, available via the Air Transat website.
