Air transport: Reopening of flights between Morocco and Switzerland
It will soon be possible again to travel from Geneva to Morocco thanks to direct connections to Casablanca, Marrakech and Agadir, from June 10, subject to health developments, according to Genève Aéroport.
Three airlines will offer direct flights between Geneva and these three Moroccan cities:
-The Casablanca – Geneva line will be re-established by Royal Air Maroc, six times a week (every day except Tuesday) and flights will be offered by Boeing 737 (some times by Dreamliner 787).
-As a novelty, Air Arabia will also offer a line to Casablanca, twice a week (Thursday and Sunday).
-The low cost easyJet will operate its flights to Marrakech four times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday for this summer) and to Agadir twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday).
Due to the Covid-19 health crisis, Morocco suspended, until June 10, air links with 54 countries, in particular from and to France and Spain (with the sole exception of organized repatriation flights together with local authorities).
