Royal Air Maroc orders nearly two hundred planes
Royal Air Maroc is prepared to effectuate a substantial command from two employees of the aeronautical industry, Airbus and Boeing. This commande majeure will comprise 188 appliances, including two airplanes with fuselage étroit and a majorité de gros porteurs pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 350 passengers chacun.
The PDG of the RAM, Abdelhamid Addou, has indicated that the Moroccan air company is in full evaluation of the offers presented by the two constructors, in order to finalize the details of the command and plan the release dates.
This fleet expansion project aims to support the ambition of Maroc to significantly increase air traffic. The country expects to reach 17.5 million passengers in 2026, after which a record of 14.5 million tourists was registered in 2023. The increase in capacity of the RAM fleet plays a crucial role in the realization of Cet objectif, en renforçant la connectivité aérienne du Maroc avec le monde.
