Royal Air Maroc: Transport of sports equipment and service charges
Checked luggage is that which is tagged at the counter and travels in the hold of the plane
Depending on the plane ticket you buy, you will or will not have a checked bag included for free. For example, inercontinental flights or British Airways and Iberia flights include a carry-on bag and another checked in the ticket. However, low-cost companies such as Ryanair or Vueling only include a carry-on bag.
The number and conditions of checked baggage included by Royal Air Maroc is what is called baggage allowance.
In the event that you need to transport sports equipment by plane, you will have to first check if your airline includes it within the baggage allowance for free, or otherwise, it does not include it and you have to pay a fee.
This is what we are going to see in detail below.

Among the sports equipment to check in include bicycles, surfboards, windsurfing equipment, kite board, golf equipment, ski equipment, skates, soccer ball, fishing equipment, diving equipment …
Remember that sports equipment that is accepted free of charge already counts as one piece of checked luggage. Therefore, unless your checked baggage allowance accepts more than one suitcase, you would have to pay the charge to carry a second suitcase.
Carry sports luggage on Royal Air Maroc aircraft
The standard weight and dimensions of checked baggage are 23 kg and 158 cm (height + width + length). Therefore, sports equipment that falls under your baggage allowance must comply with these measures.
The allowance or the number of packages or suitcases allowed as checked baggage will depend on the rate you have contracted.
Bicycles, Golf equipment, Ski equipment, Surf equipment (windsurfing, kate board and body board), … The transport costs of this type of luggage depend primarily on their weight, and the destination of second travel.
